Carry On Screaming at the new London Dungeon!
by Burlington Bertie

The London Dungeon reopened 1 March in its new, much larger, venue on Bankside right next to the London Eye and the Sea Life London Aquarium.

If you are not scared to death you may die laughing in 90 minutes of lugubrious putrid dungeon fun in the London Dungeon, as you walk through time from the fetid, rat-infested and plague-ridden squalor of Bloody Mary's medieval London... to the rat-infested, plague-ridden squalor of Jack the Ripper's Victorian London.

On the way you will 'enjoy' the sights, sounds and smells of those blood spattered times of long ago, meeting on the way the odd rotting corpse and a lively, (when they're not dead), cast of actors. They will introduce you to some interesting, if unsavory, characters of less joyful times. Meet the aromatic gong farmer who clears the privies and cesspits of the few burghers who have a latrine, the busy plague doctor and his bloodsucking leeches, the skillful torturer demonstrating his skills with the sophisticated tools of his trade, and many others including Jack the Ripper and one of his (very dead) victims.
